Dr Warren Dick
“Following 6years of study at R.M.I.T. in Melbourne, I qualified as a Chiropractor 1n 1987 and was eager to enter private practice to see the benefits of chiropractic care in people’s lives, and now after over 30 years of private practice, I still enjoy seeing the benefits people get when they use chiropractic care.”
My name is Warren Dick, and I am the owner and senior practitioner at the High Road Chiropractic Centre Riverton and now have over 30 years of experience in assisting people of all ages to improve their health/problems through chiropractic care.
Whether it’s a mother finally getting some much-needed rest from an unsettled baby or someone getting relief from persistent headaches, back pain or sciatica, I am here to help all!
What makes me uniquely qualified, you ask?
I studied chiropractic at R.M.I.T. in Melbourne, then known as the Phillips Institute, followed by a year of externship, qualifying in 1987.
Upon graduation, I practiced with Dr Torsten Braun in Remuera, Auckland, NZ until able to start my own practice in Northcote, Auckland in 1989 where I continued until moving to Perth, WA in 2000.
In 2000, my family and I moved to Perth, where I started working with Dr Gerald Ivory, a Chiropractor, in his practice in Victoria Park, Perth, WA.
In 2002, I relocated to the Applecross Chiropractic Centre with Dr Michael French, where I continued until 2012.
In 2008 my wife and I purchased our current premises at 206 High Road in Riverton, which we renovated and started as a part-time practice until 2012 when we opened our doors full-time.
I was able to benefit from observing a large variety of treatment styles from chiropractors who had been trained and graduated in several countries. Each chiropractor demonstrated a variety of approaches to the myriads of problems that chiropractors deal with, and this knowledge enables me to offer a wide variety of treatment options and enables me to adapt care to individual needs and problems.
Chiropractic care can benefit patients at all stages of life and with many different problems; however, in our practice, we most frequently see people suffering from back pain and discomfort.
My wife and I have 6 children, and all have benefited from chiropractic care during their lives.
In addition to the more familiar chiropractic treatment modalities, I frequently use an Activator Tool where extremely gentle care is required. I also have a keen interest in hand techniques such as Dry Needling and therapeutic ultrasound. Where appropriate, I recommend stretching and stabilisation exercises to complement the effects of chiropractic care and reduce the risk of relapse while improving mobility between adjustments.
I look forward to being of service to you and your family. It is my desire to help you improve your situation/problems with safe and natural chiropractic care.
With all my years of experience and knowledge in a wide variety of treatment options enables me to adapt care to individual needs and problems.
